what if you can’t get financing for a car?

What if you can’t get financing for a car? I know there’s option of not getting a car but if you need to get a car, and can’t get financing from the bank, and are pretty sure you can’t get financing from the dealership on your terms in an amount you can pay, what do you do? I just got turned down by CapitalOne for an auto-loan for a used car. I’m pretty sure my options left are dealership options, and I heard they like to mess you over and charge you a lot more.

you should try to find a co-signer with better credit and income than you have to help you out… most dealerships dont do their own financing, they simply shop different banks which you could also do. If you go to a small pot lot, sometimes they do their own financing for people with bad credit..
